Our favorite places  to go scuba diving in Costa Rica

We choose 2 dive sites, weather & daily conditions depending, to perform 60ft max dives (40ft if certification is restricted) exploring the Catalina Islands in the Pacific Ocean, one of the best places to dive in Costa Rica.

With the possibility of seeing White tip reef sharks, Spotted eagle rays, Giant Manta Rays, Nudibranchs, Octopus, big schools of fish, eels and even maybe a seahorse, the variety of life in this ocean is astounding and never boring as it changes so much during the year.  The clear warm waters and bountiful reefs off shore make Costa Rica a world class scuba diving destination.

Our favorite place for Scuba Diving in Costa Rica

One of the favorite dive sites is the waters just off the shores of Las Catalinas, in the pacific north west of Costa Rica. The unique underwater structure is what draws scuba divers to these islands. Look for arches and caves, plus vibrant coral growing on the volcanic rock formations. You may see several different kinds of rays and sharks as well as sea turtles while scuba diving here!
